CONGRATULATIONS TO THE TEAM OF CYRIL BERNIER, ANTHONY HACHEZ AND DAVID PONTBRIAND FROM HEC MONTREAL!
Génome Québec and the Québec Consortium for Drug Discovery (CQDM) are happy to announce the winners of the “Défi Tweete tes neurones!,” a contest organized to promote the life sciences sector, in particular medical and biopharmaceutical research.
The winning team, which included Anthony Hachez, Cyril Bernier and David Pontbriand, marketing students at École des Hautes études commerciales de Montréal, was awarded a $10,000 cheque for its top-notch promotional campaign entitled, “Parlons-en de vive voix.”
For more information on the winners, visit the WINNERS section.
The life sciences sector is seeking to increase its scope of influence while raising the interest in the youth to consider the challenges faced by the sector, particularly in the area of communications. It is also aiming to increase the next generation's awareness of the sector's professional challenges and potential for defining the medicine of the future.
The “Défi Tweete tes neurones” offered university students (3rd year of a Bachelor's program and more) an opportunity to combine academics and professional experience by taking on the role of an external communications specialist.
The contest was designed to develop a campaign for enhancing and increasing the exposure enjoyed by the life sciences sector, and more specifically that part of the sector dedicated to medical and biopharmaceutical research.
We are happy to present the finalists who have been invited to "pitch" their projects to the jury on August 30th.

The committee will select up to five teams of finalists from amongst all of the submitted projects (June 13, 2011). These teams will then be asked to make a presentation to the selection committee (August 30, 2011) after which the winning team will be determined.
